1. Dress like you normally do, and donot
wear flashy attire.

2. It is better to be a few minutes early than
one minute late for
your interview. Interviewers have
a busy schedule and
if you are late, it will cut down the
amount of time allotted to you.

3. It is important for you to find out as

much as you can
about the organization, agency, institution, etc.,
with which you are interviewing.

4. The very first question any interviewer asks is

' Tell us something about yourself ?'- prepare
yourself for this question.your education, family
background,experience etc.

5. Always know what your strengths and

weaknesses are ?

6. Be honest ,about yourself.

7. You need to respond and actively participate

in each interview. Don't assume what you have
told the first interviewer will be communicated
to others in the organization.

8. Adapting to the interviewer's moods and emotions

is as important as recognizing your own. Effective
listening and observation is required from your side.

9. The best way to improve your communication
skills is to practice role-playing before the interview.
Consider participating in a mock interview
through a friend, your spouse, or roommate,
to help simulate an interview or reharse
infront of a mirror.

10. It's important to maintain a sense of balance
when things go awry so you leave your
prospective employer with a good impression. .
